Pros
There was a lot of talented and smart people with great ideas working there, DevOps infrastructure was one of the best I've seen so far. Pay and benefits were nice. Projects were a mix of many technologies and generally complex, which is tempting to engineers looking for a challenge and working on something new.
Cons
Highly disorganized management and corporate politics are killing this company. Think about Game of Thrones but in a corporate setting. Too many managers who don't seem to trust each other, serving empty promises and making simple business decisions really complicated; one small change on the project usually results in the several hours meeting or two... If you have luck you will have a good product manager who will fight for your team and your ideas, otherwise prepare to be suck into politics and lose a lot of time in the meetings and discussions. Last year, a lot of (good) people left the company as the result of bad company decisions and changes in the management. The company decided to outsource a big chunk of the development to an Indian firm, which really was a hit to general standard and quality of the engineering, several great teams were disbanded in favor of the Indians, and that was a final drop which resulted in a lot of employees leaving the company, and most of the currently employed are on the lookout for something better.
