ESOPs are just a number on your contract - you will never be issued any esops. Variable pay is NEVER disbursed, and salary hikes are non-existent.
The work culture is poor, with salaries delayed every month and arbitrary deductions. Employees have faced withheld salaries, terminations without notice or severance, and extended notice periods beyond what is required. There is no clear strategy or vision driving the business. If the "maalik" is in a good mood, you might have a good day, if not, then god bless you.
There have also been instances where employees on medical leave returned only to be let go without prior notice.
If you find yourself in a spot where there is a cliff on one-side and goglocal on the other, jump off the cliff.
