Pros

- Not many, thinking back the things I would consider ‘pros’ are just things a normal company should offer their hard working employees. - Can basically do what you’d like, because of the lack of accountability from management.

Cons

- Weak management, and I mean WEAK management. No accountability from the top all the way to the bottom. I was doing 5x the amount of work the dude at the desk behind me was doing (in the same role, backed up by statistics on the ticket board they have on the TV in the office) and when I brought it up to management was told “yeah..we are busy, sorry” - Type of job where if you are self motivated and a hard worker, you will get taken advantage of. The work will not be spread out evenly. If you do more work, you will be given more work from someone that is not doing nearly as much as everybody else. Completely inefficient, demoralizing and strips any motivation you have to help customers or the company in general. - ridiculous micromanaging. On my last day, the made a rule that you needed to take a selfie in front of the building when you clocked in. What the hell? Get your employees to do their work.

Pros

Lots of access to learn and grow your tech skills. My coworkers are knowledgeable and helpful. Management is overall very fair and understanding.

Cons

GTS can be fast paced with a lot of ticket volume. Many different clients so documentation isn't always perfect.

Pros

Some of the teams do amazing work, some brilliant people who really try to do good work. They are externally effective and customer-centric despite their customers being extremely demanding.

Cons

Garbage pay for non managers. Zero support from management, no direction at all, not a place for long term growth. Trainers are great for giving an overview, but no HR to speak of and there are multiple labor law violations occurring daily. Training for specific roles is nonexistent. Health insurance is way overpriced and not available for two months. Leadership is aloof and often treat people with disdain who ask questions. Very unequal treatment across the company, I want to emphasize that most. If you are a part of the family they will go out of their way to keep you, if you aren't, they will dismiss you without any notice. There is often no prior feedback before termination, I've witnessed people with families being dismissed without a hint of coaching or any trace of management intervention. The only reason I'm still here is because the job market stinks.
