Pros

Global Relay has worked to establish their NY presence over the last two years and there are growing pains that come with it. Office identity/culture were lacking but as hiring ramps up, the workspace is coming into it's own. As an organization, we are on the forefront of innovation in the archiving space. We aren't always first to market, but we build products that work. This is what really matters and leadership has identified this!

Cons

Disorganization and siloed feeling exists between offices

Pros

Good place to start a career and get a few years of experience on your resume Some nice colleagues and some genuinely good people

Cons

I worked on the UC team for about 2 years. When I started, the team had a great culture that fostered collaboration and positivity. However, over time, it has transformed into a toxic workplace filled with internal politics, infighting, and backstabbing. They are attempting to launch a Unified Communications (UC) tool to compete with the likes of Slack and Microsoft Teams. While the initial idea seemed promising, the execution is falling short. The UC tool lacks essential features, making it unappealing to users. The setup process is overly complicated, resulting in frustration and resistance from employees and clients alike. The tool has completely failed to gain any traction. Notwithstanding this, the company continues to invest heavily in UC despite having a lack of clear strategy.
