Pros
I am really enjoying my time at GIC. The biggest pull for me as a sales professional is that it's uncapped commission. I havn;t found that in many places and it makes a massive difference. The conferences are high quality, so that helps in sales obviously and the production team do a great job getting the speakers on board. Account managing all the sponsors on the day is so satisfying. The office atmosphere is great and I love my team. I have always found Jane and Elena, and the senior managers to be supportive and helpful if I ever have any questions. The team is really great and a lovely bunch of people. It's a great place to work if you are a positive person. You each have your own events in each team, so it feels like you have ownership over your own events, which is good. Everyone leaves at half 5 and people are always going for lunch or the gym or drinks after work. It's just a nice place to work.
Cons
Sometimes the outreach can be a little repetitive, but I get that's what it takes to get the leads.
