Pros
This is a shell of a progressive startup. After THD aquisition, every incentive to work at gcc has been taken away. Customer service has never had an hourly rate increase. Cs reps are making the same money they were making in 2017 and that income is no longer competitive. Employees who were hired to work remotely now have to work hybrid in the office and the only reason that was communicated was so “we can make friends” This is the type of company that is completely out of touch. It is the pizza party instead of raises type of company.
Cons
Forced to participate in company cultures and activities that make employees uncomfortable. Employees are photographed during events and posted on social media to advertise the company culture. CS reps are made to sink or swim. They are made to train themselves and create their own processes. There are constant updates on policies that make work harder instead of making them more streamlined. Employees that are willing to work for free under the excuse of working a “special project” are the ones that are promised job promotions. Unqualified employees get promoted if they are social. Anyone who speaks up against the company policies is punished.
