Pros
Flexibility in time is possible. Good place to work if you are comfortable doing the same thing day in and day out. You can definitely focus on family pretty easily while working here. There is a possibility to stay for extended periods at the same position and in the same area area.
Cons
There is no career path to follow. Employee development is not within their vocabulary. The longevity of many of the employees is a marker of pride for some, but it is accompanied by career stagnation with no change in title or responsibilities - sometimes over decades. Heavy reliance and perceived value targeted toward time spent rather than contribution, skill, or continued learning. There is little diversity, and where there is some they are not in positions of influence. Will go to great lengths to bring in transfers from overseas to fill management positions regardless of talent already local within groups.
