Pros
I've worked at Ginger for a year now. I can honestly say that it has been the best year of my professional life. From the moment I stepped into the office for my interview, I was welcomed with open arms. In fact, I've never laughed so much in an interview! That was just the beginning. From then on, I have received an unbelievable amount of support and training. As time has passed, we have successfully managed to grow our department, offering stability and opportunity. Qualifications are funded for those that are interested in developing their skill set, a real bonus!
The offices are set in rural Dinckley, so no two hour commutes into Manchester for us! A couple of us sometimes go on short walks at lunchtime, it's the perfect place to reset after a busy morning.
What I love most about working for Ginger is how family-like we are. Work doesn't feel like work when you are surrounded by your friends! Regular social events, team quizzes, meals out and even group trips up The Three Peaks mean that we're so much more than colleagues. I couldn't imagine working anywhere else and I look forward to many more years to come.
Cons
Occasionally work runs over the usual 9-5 hours, but it's like anything in life... you get out what you put in.
