Pros
There was an amazing, kind team of people here - many of whom have left / been made redundant.
Cons
I don't usually leave these kinds of reviews, but like many people before me, I feel compelled to do so.
If you get a call for an interview at Getharley, run!!.
The team couldn't care less about the well-being of its employees. People are completely burned out, the atmosphere is miserable, and although in responses to previous reviews they repeat the typical "we do take all feedback seriously," this is absolutely fake.
Every week, in team meetings, Charmaine and the leaders repeat the same empty rhetoric: "If we had known X amount of time ago what we know today, we would do things differently," and that everything is the way it is because "we're a startup." Constant excuses and zero real action.
Wake up. The business has potential, but they seem to be forgetting something fundamental: the employees are the ones who do the work and sustain the company. Even so, there's no human resources department, no support from leaders, no real feedback, no career development plan, no professional growth. There's nothing.
People are leaving because there's no future. Every week someone resigns or is fired, and the turnover is constant. The lack of talent is covered by interns who change every six months, and even though they do their best, it's exhausting for the team to have to train new people over and over again, without any kind of structure or continuity.
To top it all off, the management style is a joke. There's no plan, no strategy, just improvisation.
