Pros

GetFeedback really cares about its employees. And I'm not talking about filler perks like a ping pong table and beer -- they care about your professional growth and your personal goals. My supervisor challenges me to do things that at first seem quite daunting. But she's constantly cheering me on, helping me succeed, and upping the ante. GetFeedback trusts their employees (even new ones) to take on tasks and projects that may be out of their comfort zone. To top it all off, the people from the bottom up are all fantastic humans! It's an honor to work at GetFeedback.

Cons

GetFeedback is continually working to expand the diversity on the team. There's always room for improvement in this area.

Pros

I've worked for 5 startups and I'd follow this team into a fire! Best product/market fit I've seen. 90% inbound leads, the marketing team kills it! The commission structure is fair and the close rate is solid. Work-life balance is great, they are flexible for commuting and allow 1 work from home day a week. Craig is a remarkably approachable CEO and is hilarious to work with. With the acquisition, it still has a small team/startup feel but with the funding of a public company.

Cons

It's actually hard to think of something but we are currently in a transitional period after the acquisition so a few of the expected growing pains.

Pros

Amazing individual contributors who are supportive and collaborative. Great lunch options and amazing view. Engineering team is awesome and has clearly built a valuable product.

Cons

The leadership team heavily micromanages employees. They keep track of how many breaks you take and believe that the time spent at your desk is in direct correlation to the level of effort you are putting forth. They hold different standards based solely on a system of favorites and will turn a blind eye to individuals that use their sexuality to get ahead, while chastising others for minor transgressions. Do not attempt to challenge the process or provide a unique point of view at GetFeedback as it will be damaging to their ego and seen as insubordination. It is best to keep your head down from 9-5, not leave your seat and never speak up. With relation to the hiring process, it is often influenced by who the hiring manager sees themself getting a drink with after work, as opposed to directly reflecting a candidate’s skill set and aptitude for the job. The HR manager/leadership team has minimal knowledge in dealing with disabilities and there is no formal process for empowering employees instead of putting them down. They may say that they offer flexible working schedules and work from home policies but it’s important to note this only applies to the selected “favorites”. If you’re looking to be involved in an amazing startup that will foster individual growth and listen to your ideas, I’d suggest looking elsewhere.
