Pros
Wow! A lot of negative reviews. I thought I would share my GeoShack working experience so far. Here I go. I am currently an outside sales representative/ sales specialist. I am provided with flexible hours, benefits, vehicle allowance, a new laptop, a new cell phone, and online resources - including sales and support resources and all historical client transactions (i.e. primary contacts, estimates, invoices). Training is ongoing. If I request specific training it is provided to me once it becomes available. The person I report to is knowledgeable of my sales territory and helps me to build relationships with clients. Leads are forwarded to me internally via the person I report to and other sales specialist (including counter sales specialist). As an outside sales representative I am expected to call existing customers and potential customers. I am expected to travel. I am expected to build relationships and follow through with the sales process.
Cons
The company continues to grow quickly and suffers somewhat from what I refer to as growing pains. As the company continues to grow individual responsibilities increase until a new employee is hired to take on a new role. This transition leads to some employee turnover - until the new role is appropriately filled.
