Pros
For freshers, it would be a good career to start with. And the good thing is in 2014, Genpact is concentrating on recruiting more freshers/entry level candidates and trying to reduce their higher management by giving one manager multiple teams. So in a way, its good for freshers out there.
Cons
Once you reach Mid level, its not a place to work with. Genpact is a BPO and job security is a big question mark. If process goes back, it would be a hard nut to crack. Having said that, losing a process takes lot of decision making but the funny thing is employees who have been working hard have to pay their careers by losing their jobs. Reaching to the top level is not easy anymore like it was some 5-6 years ago. Salary hike is another big big drawback and management is trying to get cheap labour.
