Pros

There are a few very knowledgeable people that are fantastic to learn from. Overall, everyone is very welcoming at first and willing to help.

Cons

As an employee who has worked at this site before the Genezen transition, there has been a drastic shift in leadership and morale. A lot of empty promises are made, and I truly do not feel supported in my role. There are also company monetary concerns, but they are still hiring for several roles. I feel as though for one step in the right direction the company makes, two poor decisions are then made.

Pros

Working at this startup has been an incredibly rewarding experience. The opportunities for growth and learning are endless—what you gain here in one year is equivalent to seven at a larger company. The fast-paced environment can be challenging at times, but I’ve come to thrive in it, constantly learning, problem-solving, and evolving. One of the best parts of this job is the variety in my work. I’ve had the chance to cross-train and collaborate with multiple departments, which has broadened my skill set far beyond what I imagined. The relationships I’ve built with my coworkers are unmatched. We face challenges together, find solutions, and push forward with resilience and grit. At the end of the day, it’s the team that makes this place truly special. I genuinely look forward to coming to work each day—not just because of the work itself, but because of the people I get to do it with. If you’re looking for an environment where you’ll be challenged, grow quickly, and be surrounded by an amazing team, this is the place to be.

Cons

We often run lean teams, which means there’s always plenty of work to go around—sometimes more than there are hours in the day. It took time to adjust, but I’ve learned how to prioritize my tasks effectively and accept that not everything can be completed in a single day. Time management and adaptability are key to thriving in this environment.
