Pros

I worked at GDIT when they were contracted with the Affordable Care Act and I helped fellow CSR's with their phone calls. I did basic customer service for them at first for a long time, and climbed the leaderboards until I stayed in the top 5 always. Little did I know that favoritism was the main source of promotions. The more you are liked by everyone else and suck up, the more they'll promote you. I hate that I wasted so many years, yearning for my potential to be noticed, only for it to feel like a slap in the face. Only work with this company if you have a sure fire position up the ranks to start out with, not at the bottom.

Favortism, lack of decent pay, horrible OT pay, horrible managers.

Pros

Good pay and flexible telecommute options

Cons

Extremely basic benefit offerings. There also seems to be a very wide chasm between GDIT internal (management/corporate) and front-line staff who are focused on the contract.
