Pros

Nice people to work with, overall respectful co-workers, only a few passive-aggressive comments from higher-ups when stressed

Cons

Terrible Support and hard to work your way up, feels like a dead end, most higher positions come from other firms, hard to work up internally.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're glad to hear you've found your colleagues to be respectful and collaborative – that's important to us. Everyone should feel they have a clear path for growth and the guidance they need to succeed. We do offer career pathways for our people to grow and advance and promoting from within is a key part of our culture. As a fast-growing organization, we may need to bring in external talent to fill skillsets or experience we don’t currently have to support our expansion. Your feedback about ensuring managers can effectively teach and support their teams is particularly valuable. We appreciate this perspective and will take it back to our teams as we continue improving our programs. If you'd like to discuss your experience and development opportunities further, please reach out to your manager or our People & Impact team. Thank you for being part of Gen II and taking the time to share a review!

Pros

You’re able to work with nice people

Cons

This company is ridiculous. They mandated three days in office. Yet? Nobody shows up still but then if you have a dentists appointment you have to let your superior know two weeks in advance. The computers are still absolute dog water. They had a town hall specifying that they’re above 1.35 AUM but yet employees and directors and principals have to continue using laptops from 2007? Make it make sense. The actual software that the company uses is also just terrible and lags for an hour or two at least twice a day. But if you bring it up they’ll just ignore you and then get upset why it takes so long for xyz file to be downloaded. Do better
