Pros
-Most of the staff are very friendly, and most employees have relatively good relationships with one another.
-The business has been successful, so there is always work to be done, and overtime hours tend to be available for those looking to make additional money.
-Management tends to be flexible with the employees, especially with those who are willing to go above and beyond to help the company when the necessity arises. If you work hard for them, then they generally take good care of you.
-There are many opportunities available to work in different areas in the institution. For those who appreciate the chance to learn new skills, or are new to the industry, then you will likely be able to receive on the job training for many different roles within the company.
-Benefits packages are pretty good in my opinion.
- Work environment is fairly relaxed. Dress codes are not uptight, and employees tend to have a greater degree of freedom than I have experienced in previous companies. Micromanagement is minimal.
Cons
-Business is often growing, which can feel a bit chaotic at times. Because of this, the workloads can sometimes change quickly and unpredictably. This is the nature of the industry, but can be challenging for new employees that are not accustomed to it.
