Pros
Great hotel and a great product. Free food for stars, decent benefits and a fantastic senior leadership team to include Pete Weien and his direct reports. There are some amazing front-line stars that really do amazing work. They are good at what they do and care more than others in the industry.
Cons
Favoritism and preferences are out of control. Very little recognition for doing great work and little incentive to take risks and have a vision. If you are not in the "clique" you will never be able to grow within this company. If you are "one of them" you are ensured a job for life. Most managers eventually try to stay below the radar rather than do their best work and think outside of the box. Unfortunately this behavior is what gets rewarded.
