Pros

Coming in as a Jr. Developer, I was surrounded by other developers willing to patiently teach the fundamentals. Because it's a mid-size agency, I interacted with the design team, project managers, other developers, and company leadership during project lifecycles. Gauge often promotes from within and in my time there, I had a few incremental raises and a promotion. The work is interesting. I learned how to build sites from the ground up using Magento and Shopify. I also learned a lot about Google Analytics and conversion-rate optimization techniques. It was great to be surrounded by people willing to do the right thing, even when it's hard.

Cons

There were times when we worked long days to keep up with project volume, and then sometimes, it would be a lot lighter. There was a massive pothole in the parking lot, easily ten yards in diameter and eight feet deep.

Pros

The interview process was extremely thorough and gave you a chance to interact with several different employees to get a feel for the company culture. The communication with the candidates was timely and professional. This type of interview process I believe not only benefits the company but the candidate. Making sure that it is a good fit all around.

Cons

The process did last over two months from first communication to start date, and if you have a full time job, you will need to take some time off to complete all interviews.
