Pros
Company is looking for expansion and ready to offer salaries above the market average to attract new talents
Cons
- Very bad internal communication. All units are disconnected and act on their own. No cross-functional collaboration at all. - Culture of anonymity. All chinese staff hide behind cartoonish avatars and fake westernised names. No one ever turns his camera on at the meetings. You barely understand what is the role of the person, who is they reporting to, and who is on their team. - Very shady processes, if any at all. Every minor decision goes through management and is being just passed from above to the employees. Discussions are discouraged. "It's management decision" will be one of the most frequent answers you will get even being yourself at a leadership role. - Favoritism toward chinese employees. Half of every meeting is discussion in mandarin between chinese members without any inclusion of international part of the team.
