Pros

It's a very fun place to work. Everybody gets a long with every body, easy work, they let you borrow products over weekend periods. There's free fruit too.

Cons

Almost every single day, there is a meeting, that goes nowhere. The work is very mediocre but if management sort of sees you excelling at your work, they will find something wrong with your work. There is a lot of favouritism, so you should tread lightly if you get offered a position. They make mediocre work seem harder than what it is, I guess it's a sort of method to ensure that nobody has the potential for career progression. Management is not as transparent and integral as they make themselves out to be. They are also not as supportive as they make themselves out to be, I was robbed of a substantial amount of money, management instead berrated me, which is really not believe speak to somebody who had just been robbed. They are very inconsistent and it can be difficult to interact with some of the managers. An example of this would be one time I was running late to work and we are expected to make a phone call if we expect to be late. I made multiple attempts at calling my team leader however he just kept rejecting my phone calls, I had to contact another employee to relay that message. Very rude and very disorganised management and it can be quite daunting, unless you're looking for a job where you just want to be repetitive, I do not recommend working here, essentially your talents will be wasted. Also the level 2 support is a bit unsupportive. The trainer there is kind of like a "trigger-happy" trainer, really hard to work with because trainers backflip a lot, so it is difficult to get the appropriate feedback needed. There is no work life balance they will make you stay there for as long as it takes for a phone queue to finish. Due to the fact that management is trying very hard to keep the call centre within Australia, they will make you bend over for a customer.

Pros

Good benefits and work life balance. It's a good culture and I've never worked at a place where your immediate peers are this helpful and pleasant to work with, even across teams and offices. If you want to just come in and do just what is required for your job and go home with the knowledge you have a stable job, this is the perfect place to work. I'd only recommend working here if you just want a job, but don't care about a career.

Cons

There is poor career advancement, especially if you aren't male. Leadership does not care about leading people. The RTO has made working here less appealing. The excuse that you can't collaborate unless you are in the same building makes no sense when you work with people in 6 different countries. It is about control and appearances, all due to incredibly poor senior leadership strategies. The pay is also low and so is the quality of the software you work on. Leadership likes to talk quality, but they like fast and cheap. They will not support you in actual software quality nor implement changes to improve it. The same issues happen over and over without improvement.
