Pros

Nate is great. the mission is great. remote work is great. everything else sucks.

Cons

I worked here for almost 2 years and couldn’t take it anymore. The sheer lack of organization in this company is mindblowing. Nothing gets done when it is told it is. The executives disappear for weeks on end for no given reason. Promises are made and rarely kept. I didn’t feel as if the executives in the company truly understood the stress we went through on a customer service elevem and how their lack of coordination made our lives more difficult. Gabb on the surface seems great but the longer you stay there the more you realize you are sinking in a hole and that there a serious issues that aren’t getting addressed no matter how much they tell you they are.

Pros

Past Pros: Gabb had a great culture and talented people. Work-life balance was great, the mission was a worthy cause. The people who worked there really cared about the mission deeply and worked together to accomplish it. We stood for something great and struggled to make it a reality despite challenges.

Cons

This place is a ticking time bomb. The new CEO, as of this month, has seemingly no qualifications to run the business other than his personal connections. Morally questionable people and policies at the top should be deeply concerning to all, especially since this company is supposed to protect kids. Manipulative leadership at the top who are skilled at painting a rosy picture of things while avoiding legal/ethical/moral concerns that are 100% contrary to the mission of the company. In addition, If you're a woman, don't even think about getting a fair seat because it won't happen. Hardly any women have been promoted in the last 2-3 years at the company as far as I know. The company was on a great, but shaky trajectory up until about 3 months ago, then things changed for the worse. 2 rounds of layoffs just occurred, and the remaining talent is leaving in droves.
