Pros
Lots of travel. Direction of the company changed from day to day which always made things exciting. There is tremendous opportunity in this industry and one would hope the company will be able to bring in some new effective management to change the direction this company has taken not only in the last 5 years but also in the reorganization efforts since filing Chapter 11.
Cons
Extremely poor management. The company was managed from a sales perspective with little value placed on quality, efficiency, and planning.
There was virtually no communication to the employees.
Management is very quick to lay off which has created an extremely dark environment. There is a prominent division between the management and operational teams and even segregation between operational sites which results in discouraging the concept of teamwork .
The quality statement is to save a dollar on the front end and seemingly band-aid things. As such, there is little energy invested into looking into the root cause of issues which results in constantly working in a chaotic reactionary environment trying to fix things as they continually go off course. This creates incredible expense at the back end.
