Pros
The people I worked with were overwhelmingly supportive and friendly. In many ways, it was as much a social environment as a working one.
Cons
Despite the generally good working environment, there were at times clusters of middle managers who bordered on the sociopathic. That said, they usually didn't last for more than a few years.
