Pros
Long standing company, compensation packages about average to slightly above for industry, competent scientists
Cons
Does not evaluate, beyond frequency statistics, ever expanding new processes and systems; processes are task loading and any one task in a given system can shut down a simple job for weeks; “help” is a circular system which takes weeks to break cyclical problems; infrastructure, which should support the job of developing safe and efficacious medicines, has become the entire job rather than the means to do the job and people tend to absolve themselves from thinking because the systems take up too much cognitive bandwidth even to navigate; timelines are ambitious *given the infrastructure* and nearly impossible to keep because they are arbitrary and negotiable but only if it means someone else’s time is cut short; decision making and accountability are lip services only; within company promotion only occurs if you are a self-promoter and willing to develop systems and infrastructure, which simply add to the chaos in the end
