Pros

Cool game room and cafeteria

Cons

No opportunity to move up. Very head-bobber corporate culture. Tedious inbound calls of angry customers that call in upset when you have to baby them to pay their bills when they took out loans and obviously could not afford their vehicle. Must remain happy and invested for low pay while getting micromanaged by team leads. No time in between calls to regain calmness. Reps have no clear direction of where they want to go in company. Lots of money that went into making the center appear state of the art but no money to pay reps decent wage in todays standards. $200 bonus every quarter if you're lucky.

Pros

I'm a senior-level software engineer, previously worked at tech companies, and this job is relatively easy for me. No on-call, work-life balance is good. I usually get everything done within 2-week sprints.

Cons

GMF is the true definition of work hard, not smart. There are so many dumb engineers. There was a time I had to work with non-technical teams like prod support, and it was quite frustrating. They wanted my team to build an automation so they didn't have to work manually as if anything is possible and there is no limitation within the company. I didn't even create a backlog item as it was a waste of time.
