Pros
- Coworkers are friendly and supportive. - You get to work on projects from start to finish, which is a good way to jumpstart your career.
Cons
- This is no better than a minimum wage job, with no benefits AT ALL. Not even PTO. You're not allowed to take any vacation in your first year. - There's no training at all, but they expect you to know everything when you start otherwise you'll be called out, so you'll need to figure everything out for yourself. - Unethical husband and wife business, toxic work culture, and power-tripping boss. Expect mental harassment from him. He is a narcissist and talks down to everyone. He also humiliates and trash talks other employees and former employees (including his clients and consultants). Also extremely intrusive into your personal lives and will use it against you. - Terrible and unorganized management. Basically the boss is the HR. One person is required to do the job of five people. - He will never think your performance is good enough for a raise. The only time you get a raise is when the company is in a crisis and he is afraid that someone might resign. - Very high turnover rate. That is why the firm is chronically understaffed and projects are always overloaded. So you will need to do mandatory overtime.
