Interesting job, horrendous management - Operations Assistant GFA Logistics Employee Review

Great owner, and family-based work environment. Good pay, much room for growth

I have nothing bad to say.

Management was approachable and listened to my concerns and within one week changes were made to correct the situation. At previous employers, I was never allowed to voice my opinion and even when I did, nothing changed. This company grew really fast and it took them time to get the right people in place just like any new operation but I left only because I wanted the higher pay of going back on the road. I would definitely go back if I decide to go local again. The pay wasnt the highest but it was the most dependable job in the area and be able to be home each night.

Dispatch sometimes didnt have their plan in place but like I said before, once the right people were put in place, it got a lot better. They do require you to pay for damaged tires but now inspections are done at the gate when you leave which has eliminated the issue quite a bit.
