No cons from my experience

Gulf Engineers and Consultants, Inc. is a great company which provides Civil and Environmental solutions to DOTs and private consultants alike. As an employee of the company, you get a wide variety of experience. You typically are not working on a single project, but switching gears between 2 or 3 different projects at a time. They are fairly lenient and understanding when it comes to taking VTO. The Project Leads allow the Engineer Interns to become really involved and provide them with assistance in a manner that enables them to improve their skills.

There definitely could be more transparency throughout the company. It seems that middle management is not fully aware of the decisions that are being made by department heads. There are not quarterly meetings with an entire office that gives everyone a look into how the company is doing as far as overhead being used and project budgets.
