Pros
Interesting, technically-challenging work, great engineering development program (EEDP), diverse amount of engineering work available
Cons
Too many organizations to get things done in efficient way, the leadership team does not reward technical depth (only way to get promoted in a timely fashion is to move jobs), HR managers control the promotions and are not involved in day-to-day engineering activities what-so-ever (I met my HR-manager for the first time while asking him for a promotion, to which he promptly said "No").
