GDS Group Response
3yThanks for leaving your review, its great to hear that you enjoyed the location of our offices, people you worked alongside, and found the business topics we cover interesting and we do indeed have some really fun work events too.
In response to your comments on WFH culture here, following the end of enforced lockdown, GDS decided to move back to working ‘on-site’ as this allowed for a better, more professional working environment for staff, opportunities to received real-time performance training and to also allow for a better work/life balance as we encourage staff not to work long-hours at home following a full day in the office. We found that when at home staff would stretch themselves to work all hours under the sun, behaviours that were not sustainable and healthy for the long-term mental health.
In response to the comment that GDS doesn't have diversity. It is a priority for GDS to be diverse and inclusive, we are also committed to continually work on this area.
Gender pay gap isn't a problem here, we also historically and currently have women in the most senior roles here, individuals are selected for roles based on relevant experience, commission structures are the same across all genders.
I find the random and spontaneous firings comment curious, having a protocol to follow when parting company with staff, random firings are not something (thank goodness) that should happen in any work place.
There are procedures that legally must be followed, these will be triggered by specific criteria.
Our goal is to treat employees with the upmost respect, if the role hasn’t worked out, we follow the process and part company on the best terms possible.
Wishing you all the best for the future.
