It's no secret that the past little over a year has been very hard for us and it has resulted in challenges on several levels.
We've preformed a retro, complete with comprehensive interviews, on how we handled the layoffs and related communications, uncovering areas to improve. We are of course working to make sure we are never again in this position, but the continuous improvement of our communications and leadership is a generally important area for us, too.
Supporting our people in reaching their career, learning and growth goals is still a priority for us, but we acknowledge that it is harder when the business faces challenges. At times our focus has been, and in some cases still is, on improving our finances in all our markets so that we can continue to offer our people a good environment to work and grow. For this reason, among others, our long-term strategy as a company is to specifically move away from just selling hands.
