- Leaders have no say on roadmap and are puppets of HQ - Managers don't know how to grow people - Insane amount of travel (don't trust the job description or the manager during interviews!) - Improvement suggestions (Engineering and Process) are never heard. "This is Huawei...it doesn't work like that" is the response. - "If you can't innovate, copy the competitor" - Managers/HR will brag about patents...but they are hardly operationalized. There are many products that are simply copied from competitors engineering blogs, presentations, etc. No creativity or honesty.
