Pros
Continually being challenged, new problems to solve every month, lots of freedom to engineer solutions to those problems without micro-management or oppressive oversight.
Cons
Dragged backwards by legacy infrastructure / process, constant effort by Engineering team to tread water in terms of system upgrades and consolidation. Roughly 18 months and one complete restructure into a process of streamlining, and still quite a way off completion. Morale outside the technology department not great due to round after round of redundancies.
