Pros

There were a few individuals that were practical and coolheaded. The Media Department was well run and filled with intelligent staff that have worked in the industry long enough to have this department run autonomously.

Cons

-Senior Management especially the CEO who was pertinacious about self sabotaging his own staff. -Misdirection was abundant and there was absolutely no follow through when any sort of plan was initiated, for clients as well as internally. -The CEO did not exhibit behavior fitting of a CEO, rather that of a pre-pubescent boy in high school. He made comments to many girls in the office and spoke about the girls in office as if they all "wanted" him. Most people could not say anything due to their job being constantly threatened. Being told to wear something "sexy" is offensive and the additional comment of "but I don't have to tell you that" -professionalism was non-existent, profanities and extremely offensive comments were made in many public forums. -Clients that were bamboozled into selecting the firm for a project, were immediately dissatisfied with the working relationship. This required constant damage control with all clients which can grow tiring. -I was told about the CEO accusing employees of corporate sabotage, I totally believe this due to insecurities and complete incompetence on senior management's part. They were quick to blame others for their own mistakes. -The amount of empty promises that were made could have been piled up next to mount everest. When you get jerked around this much morale will plummet. -The CEO hired his family and created a "Fuse"-hierarchy that included his wife as COO projecting a "mom and pop shop". -Many meetings were held to dispel rumors that the company was in bad shape. This was a smoke and mirrors tactic. During a company conclave where the CEO presented a slide deck showing how "good of shape" the company was in. This was misleading, and they projected this false image of sustainability and promptly laid off many people. -The benefits package is horrible. -I have never seen more back stabbing at any agency and the biggest offender was the CEO himself. He would talk behind everyone's back asking other employee's their opinions on each other wondering if he should fire them or not. -The CEO would meddle and muck up well thought out plans as he did not have faith or trust his employees. -Job descriptions do not mean anything here. No one ends up doing what they are hired for. -Immaturity runs rampant. -Complete sweat shop, be prepared to have 14 hour days and have all your work scrapped as directions change on a whim. -Senior management has selective hearing.
