The pay is half of what it should be. Despite having record breaking profits for the last three years (thanks COVID) salaries have not increased. Many people work here for a year or two then leave for better jobs where they can work from home and make double the salary doing their current job at FDLIC. Due to this the company has a hard time keeping quality workers who know what they are doing. The people who stay are only the ones who are apart of the correct social groups and attend the correct church and in turn are promoted to middle and upper management jobs despite having no experience in those areas. You can also become apart of the "leadership program" which they just choose people who are upper middle class, white and also go to their church to be apart of. All of the work experience you've had prior goes out the door once you get a job here, after you've sat through two months of doing one interview every other week. You are seen as a blank slate that doesn't know anything about the prospective job you've applied for. Middle and Upper Management are intentionally deceptive with feedback. They use the term "helpers of people" and "get used to change" or "love everyone one; LEO" to lull you into a sense of security but in reality they are looking for reasons to get rid of you on a weekly basis. This is encouraged via "one on one" meetings that you have with managers where they are making marks against you and not telling you while also not giving any advice on how to ever improve or get better if you are doing something wrong.
