Pros

One of the things I value most about working here is the company’s commitment to supporting non-profit organizations. It's not just about business growth — it's about contributing to causes that matter and helping mission-driven teams make an impact. That focus brings a real sense of purpose to the work we do and makes it feel more meaningful.

Cons

As we grow, there’s a natural need for more clarity and consistency in some processes. Streamlining communication and decision-making could make collaboration even smoother.

Pros

The product is strong and fairly easy to use.

Cons

So much potential but so poorly led. The only team held accountable to anything is sales and they are also the team severely underserved. Marketing only cares about the big orgs so leads are scarce. Finance has promised a new comp plan that will make attaining OTE possible but continue to push off delivery (for over a year now). AEs who hit 120%+ of quota, at best will see 90% of their OTE. Not a single new AE has ever been able to get close to their expected OTE regardless of their success. The majority of reps aren’t topping 70%. The company culture has gone down hill and turnover is rampant. People get fired left and right and others learn about it when they see their slack set or inactive. Everyone just fights for “credit” instead of actually doing something to drive more revenue. This is especially true for partnerships and marketing. 90% of what they take credit for they never touched. Tons of wasteful spending and over hiring for the sake of hitting a headcount KPI. They force 9-6 east coast hours and claim they don’t want anyone working past 6, but it impossible to do that. They also want travel to only happen nights and weekends so it doesn’t interrupt working hours. The work life balance is the worst I’ve ever experienced. The stress levels from everyone is evident. So much potential, but will take a leadership overhaul, and learning to treat employees respectfully. Recruiters on the hunt should be hitting up their employees because they are all looking to leave.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We respect that each employee’s experience is unique, and we appreciate you sharing your perspective. While we are sorry to hear that your experience does not reflect what we strive to build at Fundraise Up, we also want to acknowledge the broader progress we’ve seen across the organization. Over the past year, our employee engagement scores have increased quarter over quarter, and we continue to see strong participation in our engagement surveys. That data helps guide how we improve the employee experience and where we focus our efforts as we grow. Accountability across teams is a priority for us as we scale. Our goal is to ensure that every function — including sales, marketing, partnerships, product, and finance — is aligned in supporting our customers and nonprofit partners globally. As with any growing company, we are continually evolving how teams collaborate and how we support our go-to-market organization. Work-life harmony is also extremely important to us. As a global organization, we operate in a results-oriented environment where managers have flexibility to structure schedules that support their teams while ensuring coverage during core business hours for our customers and partners around the world. We’re also entering an exciting new chapter at Fundraise Up. We recently welcomed our new Chief Revenue Officer in March and are looking forward to our new Chief Product Officer joining in April. We’re energized about the future of the company and the continued opportunity to grow, innovate, and support the nonprofits we serve. Thank you again for sharing your feedback. It looks like you’re a current employee — if you feel comfortable, we encourage you to share your thoughts directly with our PBP team, with me :), or through other engagement channels so we can address concerns in real time and continue improving the employee experience together. Thank you, Ali Lee, CHRO
