Pros
You really get a chance to explore all CRM databases and advertising platforms. I think it's helpful they want you to take the courses from these platforms so you get a full understanding of how it works. Getting to work with a bunch of different start-ups/companies was super neat. I got to meet a lot of people and new brands. The people you work with are pretty great. I met some really nice people who I still check in with. They did send everyone LL Bean rain pullovers for Christmas, which were super nice.
Cons
The CEO can be a little intimidating. While I appreciate having a face to put with the company, I think his involvement was a little too intense. You never knew if you were going to get pulled into a one-on-one meeting with him. The marketing director was also not the best person to work with. It was very much the vibe of "If you can Google it, don't ask me." She had a very harsh demeanor and wasn't easy to talk to. The marketing department might be bigger now than when I worked there, but we had some key players leave and the responsibility fell on just a few of us. We were overwhelmed by the amount of accounts we had to manage. They also really emphasize having a work/life balance, but I remember a lot of the turnover happening because of the expected extra hours put into the job for no overtime pay.
