Pros
You get to meet a lot of different people. If you are fortunate enough to have good store management and a good pharmacist, then working here is a great place to get a firm grasp on retail pharmacy. and scheduling was very flexible.
Cons
There is NO room for advancement for most employees, the starting pay is barely above minimum wage, raises are a joke, and the training is barely enough to get you through each day. There is poor communication throughout the whole company, many promises but no follow through. And unless you suck up to your pharmacist, don't expect a good review (which determines your raise). The company claims to care about the store employees, but they just want you to work as hard as possible to get their numbers up. They try too hard to be like Wal-mart and Walgreen's that they forgot about the values and sacrifice of independant pharmacies who take care of their workers. If you want a serious career in pharmacy, keep looking, this is not a job you can support your family with.
