We appreciate the investment of time and talent you made in Freeman over your 10+ years with us, and are thankful you took the time to share about your experience. Our people truly are our greatest asset, and we work with the best in the business. We also understand that our industry can require extended hours at times and are making strides to improve work-life balance (starting with our new unlimited PTO policy). We appreciate your advice and agree with you- as a company, we worked hard to explore and implement alternative cost saving measures before moving forward with reductions in our workforce. While these actions were taken to protect the long-term health of the business, we plan to scale operations as demand increases for live events, and we are confident it will. We wish you all the best in your future and hope that our paths will cross again!

Pros

Work life balance can be good at times and then it could be horrible. Opportunity for career advancement is there if you wait it

Cons

Salary is not great considering the amount of work we do, plus salaried positions do not make any OT money when we have very long weeks working on show site. Yearly annual raise is 3% which is nothing. The only significant raise you can get is if you get promoted to a more senior role. Also the traveling becomes brutal when you are gone for 10 or more days at a time for these shows.
