Pros
Time off - 2 weeks off for Christmas, half a week for Thanksgiving and tons of time off given annually.
Cons
Pay isn't as great due to it being in Education, step raises are not enough to combat inflation
Accountability in the right areas, there are a lot that do not live up to their responsibilities and get little to no discipline for it. Work falls on others and those who take up slack are not recognized for it, that extra work just becomes expected now.
No room for growth, very limited positions and now positions are not being backfilled if someone leaves, the work is just absorbed by the rest.
No real IT Leadership and lack of listening to the IT Support staff to make projects and goals more likely to be a success.
