Good tips working as a bartender/cart girl

not really any cons working here except for if they ask you to bartend the banquets. The tips are pooled, so you make less for the night than you would separately.

Lots of Hours over the summer for weddings, and plenty of hours over december for christmas parties pub pays well in tips but not hourly

-Shady management -High turn over rate - no benefits - the 18% gratuity in the wedding contracts are used to pay out server salary not used to tip the staff. Unless the banquet staff are tipped in cash you can go almost your entire time here with out tips. -long hours they may say you work 4-10pm on the schedule but expect your actual time to be from 3-12am. -management will lie to cover themselves. They will make working conditions so hectic you cant take rest breaks and then claim its your fault and there was plenty of help when in fact there isnt. -management hires under aged staff and tried to have them trained as bartenders. - pay is terrible and you could seriously earn more literally anywhere else
