The pay and benefits are better than at most schools (health, dental, vision, PTO, and a 401k match). It's a good place to build foundational teaching experience if you can handle a rigorous environment.

Anxiety and Egos rule the day. Decisions are made and then changed at a pace that few can be successful. History is regularly rewritten and the management style is authoritarian masked by a false "lead from behind/sowing the seeds of greatness" presentation. Disagreement is seen as disrespect, and there is heavy pressure to fall in line if you want to be in the inner circle. Leaders are micromanaged and not empowered to be the experts they are due to CEO's insecurity and need for control.
