Pros
I feel like they truly have a good example of racial and social justice. they offer workshops that challenge the norm and are radical. I have learned so much from them and they set a good example of what a non-profit can look like. I love all the people that work there. During the pandemic, Foodshare's profits i guess increased from their social entreprise and leadership decided to then increase the wages of everyone. I knew Foodshare when Paul Taylor was ED and he was amazing. Paul is a great leader and anti-poverty activist. Sad he left-I don't know anything about the new ED. I was a volunteer for many years before offered a summer position then a contract position. Only left because I had to think about my career otherwise I would have kept going back or applied to other jobs there.
Cons
honestly, none that I can think of.
