Pros

You get a feel for what the food industry is like.

Cons

Place is a bad representative of the food industry through inept management team as well as lack of leadership at the headquarters in San Antonio. You get taken advantage of here. People who are favorites get weekends of as well as those who have kids. The insurance and benefits are very bad. Management doesnt listen to their employees. Keeps taking on new customers only to lose them to angry customers later on because of lack of transparency. Not a good place in general. Alot of the employees have a vendetta against each other, which includes the managers. Very unprofessional work environment. I wanted to move up here, but management treated me poorly during my time here.

Pros

Some growth opportunities available depending on location / current lab needs.

Cons

Since it’s part of certified group, upper management does not understand the individual needs of each lab enough to effectively run things. Mandatory overtime at most locations. Not a lot of explanation of how to do certain things or why they are done. Poor wages and terrible health insurance.
