      Pros

      Working at a place where the work truly makes a positive difference is very fulfilling. The work that is done here helps to safeguard the US and world's food supply and keep people healthy. This, and being able to meet customer's difficult requirements and hear their appreciation for helping them out is also very satisfying.

      Cons

      FSNS is a challenging place to work. There are long hours, many details to remember and stressful moments. It is not for everyone, but if you are a goal oriented and very hard working person, who does not mind rolling up your sleeves and jumping in and waiting for your opportunity to move up, your ambition will be rewarded.

      Pros

      Some growth opportunities available depending on location / current lab needs.

      Cons

      Since it’s part of certified group, upper management does not understand the individual needs of each lab enough to effectively run things. Mandatory overtime at most locations. Not a lot of explanation of how to do certain things or why they are done. Poor wages and terrible health insurance.
