Pros
Great group of people who are creative and talented, fun content to produce (who doesn't like food), good benefits package that includes 401k matching, decent hours.
Cons
Ever since Food Network's acquisition by Discovery, the environment became more corporate. The company evolved as well as individual roles, which also goes with the territory of a rapidly changing media landscape. Budgets were shrinking and more output was expected with fewer resources. Also, the company is slow is promote, even when it was owned by Scripps Networks Interactive.
