Pros
The IGNITE program offers a ton of valuable experience in a short amount of time. You have the opportunity to work on different projects across multiple business platforms, and you get to experience new roles and functions along the way. Additionally, the projects you get to work on are meaningful and impactful projects that the business is invested in. You will consistently be exposed to high-level leadership to provide project updates, network, and learn. In addition to the work and the opportunity to engage with leaders, you will also receive structured development and training throughout the program on a variety work-specific topics and also on leadership skills. After a very involved 3 years, you should emerge from the program as a well-rounded and high-performing individual that is ready to jump into a critical role of your choosing. You will also have developed valuable leadership skills that will enable you to become an effective leader at an early stage in your career.
Cons
In the IGNITE program, you are expected to physically move for each of the 3 rotations. It can be tough to pick up and move (sometimes across the country), but it allows you to become fully immersed in the projects at the sites, and it is a great opportunity to network and meet new people.
