Down trend - C++ Software Engineer Flow Traders Employee Review

The numbers of employees keep growing, the amount of net income doesn't really grow leading a weak variable compensation compared to before. Currently it seams that the salaries are not as competitive as they used to be in the Amsterdam area. Another cons is mainly a feeling that I have, not sure how real it is, but I have the feeling that the upper management consider development an expense rather than an investment.
