Pros

Sell good product brands however, those can be bought from any reputable flooring store.

Cons

Taught to cheat the customer by having 4 different price points, charging tax up to 3 times and pocketing the money. Are forced to tell people that they offer free labor on installation, moving furniture, and lifetime warranty. When in reality it's all built into the price. Made to post fake Angie's list reviews so you can deceive the customer. Also pay customer's who are willing $50.00 to post a positive review. Lifetime warranty on installs is also a big selling point. However, they have only been in business 3 years. Scolding employees in front of others. No real leadership. Constantly humiliated by management. Are paid $500 first week, $300 the second and $100 you're third. I was taken for my third week even though I completed it. Never paid a dime. When asked they said I owed all the low pay they gave me back, even though I had made a couple of large sales. Just a terrible way to treat employees.

Pros

Floors for Living is a great place to grow your sales skills and earn a solid income. The training is thorough, and management truly wants you to succeed. The commission structure rewards hard work, and the product line is something you can stand behind. The team environment was supportive, and I always felt encouraged to hit my goals.

Cons

The job can be demanding during peak seasons, and weekend shifts are part of the role—but that’s expected in retail sales.
