      Great people, but poor values - Visual Designer Flo Health Employee Review

      Pros

      The people are truly great: smart, supportive, and professional. The best colleagues I’ve ever had in my life. The working conditions, salary, and benefits are very good. Overall, it’s a great place to work, if you don’t take into account the cons I’ll describe below.

      Cons

      The company talks a lot about how much it values PEOPLE. But in reality, that’s not the case. Of course, just like in other corporations, the most important thing is money. A number of true professionals with excellent performance were fired in a single day because the company’s priorities suddenly changed. And this happened right after the team had been giving 200% of their time and effort to producing an enormous amount of content recently. It was extremely unfair, the decision was made from the top, without consulting the managers. The reason why those specific people were chosen was never explained. Flo does not follow its own values, so I’d advise being cautious if you consider working there.

      The designers genuinely want to do good work

      Cons

      Obsession with conversion, often at the expense of user needs. Lack of women in leadership positions.
